  • Competition details including sport type, weight class, and weight allowance
  • Competition timeline including weigh-in dates and timing

  • Account credentials and authentication data (including sign-in via Google or Apple)
  • Payment information for subscription services
  • Push notification preferences and device tokens

Weight Cutting and Nutrition Data

We collect detailed information about your weight cutting journey, including:

  • Weight cut plan details including start/end dates and intensity calculations
  • Daily weight measurements and progress tracking
  • Food intake and nutrition logging (including photos of meals analyzed by AI)
  • Water intake and hydration levels
  • Activity levels, exercise routines, and training schedules
  • Sleep patterns and recovery data
  • Weight cutting protocol adherence and daily plan completion
  • Post-weigh-in refueling strategies and meal plans

Community and Social Data

If you use our community features, we collect:

Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following categories of third-party service providers to operate our platform. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their specific function:

  • AI and Machine Learning: OpenAI processes meal photos and text descriptions to provide nutritional analysis and generate meal plans. Meal images and descriptions are sent to OpenAI for processing and are not used to train their models.
  • Database and Authentication: Supabase provides our database infrastructure, user authentication, and real-time features.
  • Payment Processing: RevenueCat and Superwall manage subscription billing and paywall experiences. Payment details are handled directly by Apple App Store and Google Play; we do not store your credit card information.
  • Analytics: Mixpanel helps us understand how users interact with the app to improve our features and user experience.
  • Attribution and Advertising: AppsFlyer, Facebook SDK, and TikTok Events SDK help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These services may collect device identifiers and app usage events.
  • Push Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging and Expo Notifications deliver push notifications to your device.
  • Authentication Providers: If you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers share limited profile information (such as your name and email) with us in accordance with their own privacy policies.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including sensitive health and weight cutting data, against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. The specific retention periods depend on the type of data:

  • Account Information: We retain your name, email, and profile details for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, this data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
  • Weight Cutting and Health Data: Your weight measurements, nutrition logs, meal photos, hydration records, and weight cut plan history are retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, this data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • AI Coaching and Interaction Data: Data generated through AI-powered features, including food photo analysis results and personalized recommendations, is retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Payment and Transaction Records: Billing and payment data is retained for up to 7 years after your last transaction to comply with tax, accounting, and financial reporting obligations.
  • Community and Messaging Data: Community posts and direct messages are retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, your posts and messages are permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • Usage and Analytics Data: Anonymized and aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely to improve our platform. Identifiable usage logs are deleted within 90 days of account deletion. Third-party analytics providers (such as Mixpanel and AppsFlyer) retain data according to their own retention policies.
  • Support Communications: Records of customer support interactions are retained for up to 2 years after the issue is resolved for quality assurance and legal purposes.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at info@cutcoach.app or by using the account deletion feature within the app. When data is deleted, we remove it from our active systems and instruct our service providers to do the same. Backup copies may persist for up to an additional 30 days before being fully purged.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and review your personal information and weight cutting data
  • Update or correct inaccurate information including weight cut plans
  • Request deletion of your personal data and weight cutting history
  • Stop or modify active weight cut plans
  • Opt-out of marketing communications
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Request restriction of processing of your health data

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage patterns, and provide personalized content. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences, though disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality.

9. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately. For users between 13-18 years old, parental consent may be required for weight cutting activities.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable laws.
